We have a somber tale to share today. But we encourage you to read on none the less, before it becomes too late for a vaccination. That’s a vaccination before you, or a loved one, or a friend, if one of you remains undecided for too long. We are not making this up. We are sharing information from CNN Health posted July 22, 2021. And yes, they are a trusted source of reliable information.
There’s an Angry Overtone to the CNN Post Today
CNN Health reporter Madeline Holcombe has been dong the rounds of intensive care units. ‘We do know that in our ICUs, we are seeing younger people intubated who are very sick,’ Dr. Jeanne Marrazzoshe told her.
‘Or who are on the floors and are very sick’, the professor of infectious diseases at Alabama Uni added. ‘That should be a gigantic wake-up call. Alabama is at the beginning of a wildfire.’
‘What I really wish you could see, is to look into the eyes of a young father or a gentleman. Who knows that they may be short for this world because they didn’t get their vaccine. And the regret and remorse on their face … and fear,’ Dr. Michael Bolding at Arkansas’ Washington Regional Medical Center shared sadly when he called.
Think Again, Before It Becomes Too Late for Vaccination
Dr. Brytney Cobia of Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham shared her frustrations on Facebook. How she feels when her patients ask for a COVID vaccine before the tube goes down their throat. She has to tell them by then it’s too late.
And when they die, she goes back to her office, writes their death note, and says a small prayer that this loss will save more lives. She believes, and this is the point of this post, it may not be too late yet, but it might be someday for any one of us.
So we should have our shot before it becomes too late for your vaccination. Let’s not waste our potential and the years that lie ahead. Do the right thing, survive the pandemic, and then we can get on with our dreams no matter where we are.
