There’s a Delta virus surge in many places as we write. But that’s largely down to human carelessness, and not caring enough about each other. That puts us on the back foot as we depend on our own resources in public space. It’s time to refresh the COVID back-to-basics to protect yourself. So let’s find out how much we remember from the days when we awoke and found ourselves in a pandemic.
The Six Most Important Tips to Remember Every Day
1… Wear a mask anywhere you are at risk. That could be at home, at work, and at the mall. Because this could be the day the Delta virus is nearby.
2… Keep a six-foot clear radius around yourself wherever possible. Navigate by open spaces, stay away from groups. Be aware you could have virus yourself.
3… Have a full vaccination soonest as you can. But remember it takes three weeks to become effective. Do this to protect yourself and the people that you love.
4… Stay away from places where people gather, especially if there is poor ventilation. Resist the urge to dine out, and exercise in busy places.
5… Wash your hands with soap and water (or use sanitizer) regularly, and especially if you touch anything that you don’t own, or trust entirely.
6… Monitor your health daily by checking body temperature, and reading your blood-oxygen levels with a pulse oximeter. Take medical advice if you are out of range.
