In their third year back, the Hayden Robotics team is unstoppable! We’ve been following the Hayden Robotics’ team journey since the beginning in 2016 and we’re glad to see they have made it 3 years now in the First Robotics competition!
This weekend, March 22-24, Hayden Robotics at York University is happening and we cannot wait to watch them compete and show off their skills!
Hayden Robotics Team
In their first year, the team started out with 25 students. In the last two years, they have maintained a close team of 50 students!!! 50 incredible students from grade 9 to 12 divided into 5 sub-teams: design, electrical, mechanical, business and marketing. They have their mentors to help them with anything they need. However, all the work is done by the amazing students!
Check out the video below for a snippet of their robot for this year’s competition!
“Progress so far has been great. We managed to make our drive train and get our elevator mechanism working as well as our hatch intake mechanism. For the past few weeks, we’ve been averaging around 28 hours per week!
