Autonomous Mobility Travel by Battery Power

We almost missed the obvious in our quest for the dramatic entrance. Hence, we have praised the arrival of autonomous electric cars, and dreamed of giant electric cruise ships sailing the seven seas on autopilot. We have even fantasized of traveling to the stars. In the midst of this, we have missed the obvious. Autonomous mobility travel by Battery Power is with us, and has so much to give.

This is Something We Can Implement Now

Moreover, the conversion from manual to electric is affordably within reach for many, we believe. While today’s green cars are still for wealthy people, and self-driving cars remain controversial. Our hearts go out to people battling with cumbersome wheelchair technology that keeps their heads low, as they try to thread their way through crowds of people who choose to look the other way.

We believe autonomous mobility travel is a basic human right for those whom life dealt a different set of cards. Just imagine this newfound travel freedom of sitting proud, of being able to dial up a destination and visit a favorite store. And then navigate back to an autonomous car, that takes us home in comfort and safety.

This Technology is so Obvious it Should Already be in Place

We have had electric mobility chairs and scooters for a while. Indeed our own batteries power a wide variety of stairlifts already. We also supply deep cycle mobility batteries. Moreover, we can collectively make the autonomous conversion now, and so we should.

Just imagine using those autonomous chairs in airports instead of towing luggage along walkways. And of gracefully following ramps with our cabin baggage safely in the storage bin behind. We are at a loss for words. Why, oh why do the obvious things seem to take longer than the improbable? Please comment by telling us what you think.

I tripped over a shrinking bank balance and fell into the writing gig unintentionally. This was after I escaped the corporate world and searched in vain for ways to become rich on the internet by doing nothing. Despite the fact that writing is no recipe for wealth, I rather enjoy it. I will not deny I am obsessed with it when I have the time. I live in Margate on the Kwazulu-Natal south coast of South Africa. I work from home where I ponder on the future of the planet, and what lies beyond in the great hereafter. Sometimes I step out of my computer into the silent riverine forests, and empty golden beaches for which the area is renowned. Richard
