We are preparing – in our minds – for a Covid community outbreak so we know what to do if it happens. In our imagination we have reached the stage where a member of our household could be showing symptoms. In that case we will be sheltering them in a separate bedroom with own bathroom and toilet if possible. We turn our attention to steering Part 4 of our Covid-19 plan through in more detail in our imagination.
Things to Remember While Steering Part 4 of Our Covid-19 Plan Through
Centers for Disease Control (CDC) emphasizes we need to stay in touch with friends and family while in isolation. We can still do this safely if we are showing symptoms by using phones and the internet. It’s important to manage any chronic conditions carefully because the added stress may affect these too.
However, emotional health can become our greatest challenge while steering Part 4 of our Covid-19 plan through. Nations around the world report a spike in disputes between life partners at this time. Our children may be bottling up their concerns too. The CDC encourages discussing the virus with kids and reassuring them they are safe.
In the Midst of This, We Should Also Plan for the Future
We will meet again at work and play when this is all over. It’s therefore important to stay in touch with our employers, if we have to stay at home for a while. The same applies to the kids, if one of them is unable to attend school. Good grades are as important as ever.
And if their school does close for a while, then their teachers will want to continue their education at home. We may have to fulfill the role of virtual teachers for a few weeks. It’s important to keep young minds active. Especially as Centers for Disease Control asks us to discourage kids from gathering in public places on their own.
