UPS Battery Center runs a free electronic recycling depot in Toronto. We are dedicated to reducing landfill waste, recycling components properly, and keeping hazardous materials out of the environment. We encourage our customers to clear out their unwanted electronic waste responsibly.

Lead Acid Batteries are not serviceable: once they expire, the only thing to do is to recycle them. The good news is that almost 100% of the materials in lead acid batteries is recyclable.

We accept all brands of UPS systems and batteries: Tripplite, APC, Belkin, Powerware, CyberPower, and many more.

Come by our main location at 149 Limestone Crescent in Toronto near York University to drop off any of your electronic waste.

We are happy to accept the following items and more, for proper disposal:

  • Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system
  • Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) batteries
  • Desktop computers
  • Laptops
  • Tablets
  • and other electronics

The UPS Battery Center E-Recycling program is completely free of charge.
