There are nine alphabetic letters in R-E-C-Y-C-L-I-N-G. The Hindu religion reveres that number because it represents the end of a cycle, or so Wikipedia assures us. That fountain of knowledge goes on to mention the Norse believed their universe comprised nine worlds. But that’s enough for now. We want to know which letter you rate highest after we ascribe a meaning to each.
Which Letter is Most Important: R-E-C-Y-C?

Some folk rate social recognition so important they let others guide their decisions. Certainly, recycling is ‘the thing to do’ judging by battery recycling boxes in posh stores. Others do it regardless of public opinion on behalf of the environment. They say this is a more noble gesture than following fads and fashions.
Perhaps though, the ‘C’ rates highest on behalf of climate change looming we must stop at all costs. This is about survival, not morality! But hang in there, others say. Recycling is something you must do because it will keep the prices of your devices and batteries down. However, maybe just maybe recycling is a matter of CONSCIENCE and ranks highest when considering which letter is most important.
So Case Closed? Not Yet, We Still Have to Consider L-I-N-G

The worst offenders are the businesses that churn the batteries and devices out. We need LEGISLATION to force them to actively recycle what they make. However, at the end of the day we also need to instill a sense of INDIVIDUAL duty in the hearts and minds of world leaders.
We should tell them which letter rates highest on voting day. We should order them to stop the wanton destruction of nature by turning green valleys and pastures into landfills. The signs of GLOBAL warming are all about us. We could stop pumping so much carbon into the atmosphere, if we recycled and reused what we have already mined and processed.
Which letter in ‘recycling’ do you rate highest now, after carefully considering all your options?
