We wish we could have said let’s go shopping on Christmas Eve and see the lights and enjoy a jolly Christmas dinner with friends and family shared the following day. However, we couldn’t do that because this has become the strangest holiday period. That said, we still believe in dreaming of a safer Christmas in 2021 because we hope this COVID thing will be over by then.
Dreaming of a Safer Christmas In 2021, Will It Be Like Old Days?
We can’t know for sure if it will be like the good old days. We should have had our vaccines by then, we believe. But it seems likely there will be those who refuse to have theirs for a variety of reasons. We also don’t know how long our vaccines will last, or for that matter the ‘herd immunity’ of those who refuse them.
We may still be in some form of lockdown, or subject to COVID safety rules in a year’s time. But that doesn’t stop us dreaming things will be better than they are now, with second, deadlier surges currently breaking out all over. This seems to boil down to more face masks, distancing and sanitizing for a while longer.
New Year Resolutions for a COVID-19 2021: What Should They Be?
The North American vaccine roll-out will take at least until June 2021, from what we have heard. Only time can tell how long those vaccines will last, and where to from there. Perhaps it’s best to view ourselves as infection-prone after our vaccines. And manage the air we breathe out, at much as the air we breathe in.
We wish our customers and blog family a happy, healthy and better Christmas 2020 from the depth of our hearts. We’ll keep on dreaming of an even safer one in 2021. And it will be, you’ll see, if we all do our bit towards that happening.
