It makes sense to register a COVID-19 vaccine appointment on the internet. Could you imagine sorting through 209,128,094 pieces of paper, one for every U.S. adult? So far so good, but what if you found the system tricky to follow on your phone screen? You’d find a vaccine fairy to make your appointment, that’s what you could do.
The Vaccine Fairies Flew Down in March 2021
The fairies arrived on a good day in March 2021. That was after they heard some Americans were having difficulty with the vaccine registration system. And so they decided to strike a blow for vaccine equity. And help Americans with limited access or knowledge of technology get their jabs.
Their volunteers use information on a simple online form, to make vaccination appointments for their clients. However, their assistance ends there, and their customers have to do the rest of the lifting themselves.
In case you’re interested in helping them out, you could become a part time fairy too. Although right now they are flooded with applications and you may have to start your own fairy circle.
How Vaccine Fairies Help People Make Appointments
They start learning the ropes as ‘tinkerbelles’, although if they are diligent they could ‘flutter up the ranks’ to ‘senior fairy’ status according to Charlotte Observer. We were so thrilled we stumbled over this we dashed to the computer to share.
It’s good to know the spirit of giving is alive and well, despite some wealthy nations serving themselves first. Not to mention thoughtless people jumping the queue with counterfeit vaccination cards.
A vaccine fairy could be waiting to help you make your appointment right now. They just need your demographics so they can complete the government form. Then you can sleep well at night knowing your vaccination is in hand, thanks to a couple of young people who care.
