Previously on the series of “e-bikes” we covered a really well known shop in B.C. However, this time we wanted to make it more local and what better to start with than the Amego Electric Vehicles shop!
A Little Definition
As discussed in a previous post about e-bikes, they are simply bikes, bicycles and scooters that operate on batteries rather than gas. They are in style, sustainable and very efficient as they require no insurance, no license, and no registration! The Amigo e-bike shop offers 3 main different types of bikes: e-bikes, e-bicycles, and e-scooters. Whether you like them retro or modern, they’ve got them all!
As a way to add a “unique” factor to their shop, the Amego team state that their mission is to provide access to transportation that is not only sustainable but also “smart, stylish and fun!”
History
The Amego shop had the same values since its inception in 2010 when founder, Virginia Block, was inspired to start up her own company of electric vehicles. She predicted they would be the future of business and so she took matters into her own hands. Always interested in entrepreneurship, Block did her research in China on the best types of e-bikes and then proceeded to bring that business over to North America. I got a Amego running on lead batttery and like to buy lithium battery for better milleage ..can i just change the battery and charge it with the same charger ,,,and what is the prize for for 12v 12h battery,
