Therefore, the looming Gallup polls raise American concern regarding the government’s response to the environment, this is a major development.

The Gallup poll of July 12, 2019 reports climate change is a talking point among Americans. It found “less than half of Americans (46%) are satisfied with efforts to preserve their environment”. This suggests candidates in the primaries “may have a receptive audience” if they hold similar views their report says.

The key question in the Gallup survey was “Are you satisfied with efforts to preserve the environment in the U.S.”. In 2015 the positives were 60%.
