Is Your Scooter Battery Your Friend

We went through several relationships in life, beginning with our first love in baby school. But that was before we owned our first bicycle, and discovered the joy of speed. We’re grown up now and own our first brand new electric scooter. So nowadays the big question becomes, ‘Is your scooter battery your friend, will it do what you want it to do’.

Your Scooter Battery Is a Friend if You Understand

Your electric e-transport has a battery inside that will carry you where you want to go. But make sure you choose a decent one, which can travel a good distance between charging. It is really important to remember that without a battery, your scooter cannot go forward at all.

Therefore you need to choose your battery, the way you choose your best friend. Quality is important, and they must both satisfy your needs. If your scooter energy storage is larger, then you will be able to travel farther. But, please do remember that having a heavier battery will make the bike harder to park.

Another thing to get right before you can call your scooter battery your friend, is the not-so-small matter of cost. Your battery is the priciest part your scooter. And that is why a better, fastest scooter will always cost you more.

Love Is Forever But Not Batteries

Your battery life cannot last forever, as is unfortunately also the nature of your body. In the case of a battery we call this falling away ‘voltage sag’. We are talking about a phenomenon where the battery drains faster towards the end of its charge.

But no worries thanks to the magic of batteries. That’s because we can recharge a scooter and fill it again with fresh energy. Just the same way we can recover ourselves after a hard day playing sport, by going to bed early and sleeping peacefully through the night.

I work from home where I ponder on the future of the planet, and what lies beyond in the great hereafter. Sometimes I step out of my computer into the silent riverine forests, and empty golden beaches for which the area is renowned. Richard
