Climate change denial takes many forms, including that it is not happening. And if it is, how do we know it is permanent?  We decided to expose the real truth concerning climate change in Canada. We wish we could say it is not happening but we cannot deny the truth.

Absolute Proof of Climate Change in Canada

Climate Atlas says every year after 1998 has been warmer than the 20th century average. Therefore, few millennials have experienced the Canadian climate the way it used to be. While some folk may say they enjoy the warming weather, there are dark clouds gathering as Earth heats up.

However, proof of climate change in Canada depends on accurate measurement. Around the world, scientists are measuring the air from weather balloons. While thousands of ships and buoys record the ocean temperature. Finally, weather satellites confirm these readings from above. This information feeds into research.

And the Result? Canada Warmed Sharply Since 2001

Esteemed scientists say 17 of the 18 warmest years in the past 50 were since 2001. Therefore, modern global warming is a relatively rapid departure from recent history, at least in Canada, Moreover, this is the first time we can ascribe this to human activity. That’s because climate scientists can’t explain this away using Earth’s tilt, or its orbit around Sun.

Neither can large volcanic eruptions and changing ocean currents provide a reason. Therefore, the logical explanation is greenhouse gases from humans burning carbon. Scientists can trace these carbon gases to burning oil in gasoline engines, and coal in power stations.

We feel uncomfortable in heatwaves 2º above normal. Try 4º in your imagination. Climate change in Canada would not be happening if we stopped burning fossil fuels like coal, petroleum, and gas. Perhaps, just perhaps we should listen to scientists and stop doing this. But it will not be easy.
