Industrial standards, specifications and testing are important aspects of societies that are increasingly industrial and technological in nature. These involve methods that will help measure the performance of products and other innovations that result from the efforts of both the science and engineering fields. It helps ensure that the old products and new developments will function as intended.

When you buy it in the grocery and you open it at home, the chances of you seeing some broken pieces are quite high. It has to be noted that these measurement methods are rarely constant. It may take awhile for some of them to be revised but they will all change in time.
