There’s can be a wide gap between what we gut-feel, and what is really happening around us. Science helps us know the truth by filtering out the guess-work, and objectively reporting fact. That’s why it can’t tell us how long the COVID vaccines will last. We hope it is a long time, but we don’t have a time machine to look into the future. So what are the proven facts about the coronavirus vaccine we can already trust?

Proven Facts About The Coronavirus Vaccine to Trust

We can only catch COVID-19 from a live virus which is invisible to all but the finest microscope. None of the COVID-19 vaccines currently in development in the U.S. use the live virus that causes COVID-19. These only contain the information our immune system needs in order to fight off the infection. If they trigger a fever or other symptoms, then this is proof they are doing their work.

Another proven fact about the coronavirus vaccine being safe, is it does not cause a positive virus test result. It will, however confirm you have added COVID-19 antibodies to your collection of viral defenses. And that is a good thing to have handy while the pandemic rages on around you. This also means you are far less likely to infect another person whom you love.

So Is There No Bad News About the Coronavirus Vaccine Then?

There is other stuff you need to know before you have the vaccine. Between three and nine percent of people tested during Moderna and Pfizer trials developed symptoms associated with the disease. But these were not the disease itself, and generally did not last a long time.

However, it’s possible to catch the actual disease from someone else during the first three weeks of having the vaccine, while your antibodies are still developing. Therefore, if you have the vaccine and develop symptoms you should isolate, and obtain medical advice.

I work from home where I ponder on the future of the planet, and what lies beyond in the great hereafter. Sometimes I step out of my computer into the silent riverine forests, and empty golden beaches for which the area is renowned. Richard
